a scenic artist in L.A. I worked on the movie, Logan's Run.

Turns out her mother was a big fan of the movie and that was the source of her name.

I told her I had some old pictures of the back drops and would see if I could find them for her and her mom.

An auspicious occasion

for sure

Seems it's a rare event.  This is the first of four with a total eclipse of the sun in the middle.  In the past it has coincided with major events for the Jews.  

Look it up.

Not only was it the first of four blood moons it also was Passover and tax day.

...and

Court day for me.  I got hit by a car in a cross walk

and was given a ticket for riding a bicycle against traffic.  The officer didn't show and it was dismissed.

What an auspicious omen...!!!

In a small town called Keyport on Liberty Bay.

The Collective Art Tank

It was a b/w shorty about how Asbury Park was when it had deteriorated.  Pretty grim.  It was well attended.  A sign of hope.

Years ago I was driving to NYC from somewhere down South.  I was a day early so I decided to kill some time.  There was a sign on the freeway for 

Asbury Park.  I had heard of it because of Bruce Springsteen and the Stone Pony.  I got off and came up thru Belmar.  I stopped at a gas station at 4th

& Main and asked where the Stone Pony was at.  

When I found it I was struck by the urban decay and left.

Years later (Maybe ten) I live within a stones throw of the Stone Pony.  Thank Gawd things have improved.
