The new kid on the block is Ruben Martinez who took over the old unique clothing boutique locaion on Cookman Ave.

Tara, who use to run it is now the sole empolyee of the Belmar arts council.

Ruben is showing big photos.  The kind of hi gloss art one finds in cooperate buildings.  ALF wishes him

good luck and encourages people to check him out.

Disturbing news here.  The cultural fascist are not dead and gone yet.  Pork Chop from Parlor Gallery was doing a mural on Bond Ave when a woman who owns some property across the street started complaining that he had not gone thru the mural committe.  The one that never meets.

She even called the police who showed up.

Capt Flash did the same thing (mural work) on the wall of Johnny Mac's with out permit, incident or the police.

....but when he drew in chalk on the sidewalk outside the afore mentioned womans property she called the police and showed up at Johnny Mac's and made a scene.

Where would the world be without cultural fascist like her.

this place, that was until we sat in there over an hour with out ever once being approached by a waiter let alone getting a drink.  I walked out.
