SPEECH POLICE

 REMEMBER...!!!

The speech police are the thought
police in disguise

The speech police escalate censorship to the level of an intellectual orgasm.

Two items in the news.  First there is now a list of 26 words someone wants banned from the work place.  If this trend continues soon people will no longer be able to talk because so many words will be banned there will not be enuff left to carry on a conversation.

In Canada someone wants opposition to immigration
to be a hate crime.  I don't hate 'em but I don't like 'em either.  Is that o.k. or should I expect solitary
confinement ?

(Personal Note:  I personally feel that the U.S. government is a criminal and treasonous entity.
Illegal immigration is a crime.  Legal immigration is a ponzi scheme.  Now the only question left for America is will the Mexican's accept Islam?)

Is it just a matter of time till opposition to immigration or opposition to the government is a thought crime.

George Orwell said something to this effect...freedom of expression is being able to say something someone else does not approve of.

Freedom of expression is just that.  There is nothing that sez: except for racial or ethnic or gender slurs, or if kids can hear.

You don't have to like it.  If not being able to say something depended on someone else's approval we'd all be in deep doo-doo.

Who would get to say who get's to say what and when?

I am a performance artist.  I do an act called the "last hippy"

I have various signs I show.  One sez:

WIFE WANTED, SEW, COOK, CLEAN,
GOOD IN BED

Thousands of people walk by and no one objects.  Then a woman decides she doesn't like it and calls the police.

(On You-tube,"artsliberationfront)

She didn't have to look at it.  She could'a
walk away.  Who is she to decide what the others can see?

The following week someone else objects to the

guilt FREE SEX sign

More cops.  This time the summer wanna'be's.
In all the years I've been doing this that sign is the most popular sign that people want to have their pictures taken with.

The guy who complained sed if it was up to him he'd throw me under the boardwalk.  When I pointed out to the cop that was a terrorist threat, he said he didn't hear it.  Then threatened to take my camera and proceeded to throw me off the boardwalk for disturbing the peace.

How a piece of cardboard laying still could disturb anything remains to be seen.

Trouble is immature, inadequate wanna' be's drunk on a taste of power anxious to bully someone
to make themselves feel important and impress their superiors in hopes of being re-hired next year.
Their ego's need a victim.

Nobody made the guy look at it.  He choose to.  He could have walked away. Again who is he to decide for everyone else?

When you don't respect my right to pick and choose
my own words you don't respect me.  If you don't respect me you abdicate your right to my respect.

If you can decide what I can say, can I decide what you say?

If I can't say nigger, you can't say racist.

Better yet let's just respect each other's right to decide what words they want to use, whether
we approve of them or not.

Everyone is entitled to an opinion and the right to express that opinion.  It does not depend on someone else's approval.

If you don't approve of what I say, just don't invite me to your party but respect my right to say it.

ART ?

I was out for a walk when I discovered these piles of
broken glass near a footbridge that passes
from Ocean Grove to Azzberri Pawk.

Who put them there and why?  Someone put some effort into breaking up a lot of glass.

Has the phantom dribbler evolved into
site specific installation art?

Got any information about this let me know.

BAD LUCK

If it wasn't for bad luck I wouldn't
have any luck at all.

A recent item in the news, a man is
crushed to death when a cross dedicated
to Pope John Paul II falls on him.

Ironically he lived on a street named after
Pope John XXIII.

Note:  Both are soon to be canonized
as saints.

Wrong place.  Wrong time.  He must have done something very bad.

I'm sure there' a message here
somewhere.
What it is I'm not sure.

Someone bring me a joint, a glass of red wine
and a fly swatter and I'll get back

SALESIAN

In the news again.

Seems out in L.A. two police dept. teams, one from L.A. called the Centurions and one from San Diego called
the Enforcers (Power trippers) were playing a charity event when someone broke into a locker room and stole guns, badges, money and jewelry.
'Magin' 'dat.

It happened at Bishop Mora Salesian High School in East Los Angeles.

I attended it 60 and 61.

CLOSURE

See: CLOSURE

Jan 13, 2014

In that post I listed nine
galleries that have come and gone
since I've been in Asbury Park
Three maybe, four years

KISS MY ART

has closed it's doors bringing the total to
ten.  Doesn't really sound like AP
supports the arts.  I know
it doesn't.

The guy who ran it wins my

MOST FLAKIEST, FLAKE AWARD

For two months, not weeks, I called, e-mailed
and went there.  Never open.  He'd tell me to show up.  I would.  Lights on, open sign up, door locked.

Knocked and knocked, no answer.  I suggested
he put a sign in the window with his phone number that sed:  Open by Appointment.

He did for awhile, then took it down.

While were on the subject rumor has it Old man Raffertie's is gonna' close it's doors
just like Ivan and Andy's.

What's that sucking sound I hear?

People ask, why should we go to AP?
The answer, we got restaurants and galleries.
Four galleries, six restaurants.

Meanwhile Tin Head Dan Jacobs and the
Tri City News continue to wallow under the illusion that they are relevant to anything.

If you had to hire an art director who would you choose.  I have a six page resume' and forty six years of experience.  Dan is an ex-lawyer.
Conversely who do you think knows more about art.

If you ask me Dan doesn't know is ass from a hole in the ground about it.

Also look for the charade called ARTSCAP
(I call it ARTSCRAP) to fade from the scene.
Their slick brochure is a total fiction.

A visit to their web page list five artist.
Three photographers and two artist.  Anybody with a camera and a cell phone is a photographer.

Here again is a case of the blind leading the blind.
Dennis Carrol is an ex-high school art teacher.

Dan and him should engage in a little intellectual incest.

They also list two painters.  Doris China who is dead and gone and a watercolorist.  Doesn't say anymore than he's a watercolorist.

You got to be a member to find out who the members if any are.

What's the point of keeping them secret unless...there aren't any.

GUARDIAN ANGEL

I got one...but sometimes she can be
a moody bitch.

Pre-menstrual...maybe?

INDIAN PARKING

I was surfing Google Plus and came across a post.
It had this woman's picture and directed me to a site titled "Indian women parking".  What could that be about?

Is this the "parking lot attendant"
Do you want to park my car for me?  Where?  Over there maybe?

I tell ya' what let me park my car..near you

I visited the site.  It was pictures of a lot of pretty
Indian women.  They even had pictures of some Arab women also.  Didn't see any cars there.

Language barrier or cultural thing...who knows.

I'd like to park her car for her.
