LIVED ON A SAIL BOAT

..for the better part of eighteen years.  It is a dfficult place to be an artist.  Even if I could afford paint and canvas, where would I paint and what would I do with it once I got it and the next one.

What I did was to buy  a sheet of color paper and tear it into fours.  I'd use color pencils.  I sit on that boat at night, naked, smokin' pot on a hot summer night while the boat gently rocked. I did ruffly 5 hundred
