Not to be outdone by themselves the city shot itself in the other foot. In thier rush to become a police state they have now out lawed riding bicyles and having dogs on the board walk all year round.
Ya'vol mien fuher
Can you imagine in the dead of winter with not another soul insight you can't ride a bike or walk a dog. Why? Some one might get hurt, be offended, or 'Cause it's the law and the law
MUST BE OBEYED
IT DOESN'T MATTER THAT THERE IS NO CONNECTION TO REALITY
They got guns and badges and can make up any lie they want. Then send you to a kangeroo court.
Cops, judges and prosecutors, same team.
Them vs you.
Last week there was a murder on the Westside.
It is a significant waste of manpower and resources to have police on the boardwalk around 7 p.m.
in the middle of Sept busting people for the hienous crime of walking a dog or riding a bike.
Who and when did they come up with this?
The city needs to re-organize it's priorities.
Someone wants the boardwalk to be as sterile (another word for impotent)
as
Pier Village (No character). Where only a number of well to do white people who are afraid of thier own shadows spend significant amounts of money.
That's a developers dream that didn't account for the recession let alone a performers ordinance.
What next? Background checks and pass control?
Every body must walk single file on the right and not
carry anything suspicous. No sitting on a bench for more than twenty minutes. No hands in your pockets. Crossing your legs will be viewed as a sign of resistance and an indication your a terrorist at which point you can be detained
indefintely.
Mark my word. It is only a matter of time until they try to outlaw performers and artist as being
subversives, and get rid of the performers
ordinance as being disruptive
because
They had numerous "anonymous" complaints
DE-CRIMINALIZE CULTURE
ARREST TERRORIST
NOT ARTIST
If you don't like it then leave Asbury Park. It is stupid to spell it any other way.
