DANNY BROWN (Shadows)

FORTUNATELY

....the ban on photography was inside, not out,
where I encountered a young, radical poet
DANNY BROWN
again trying to score, this time with lovely
Bridgette

SHADOWS

by

Danny Brown

(This is exclusive to ALF and is published here for the first time)

Shadows surround her face
As I lie next to her

Tears fall un-noticed on the pillow
as I hold her gaze

She cries for things known,
loved and lost

I lie thru my teeth
and promise we'll
never die

But her sigh and
tears fall

Despite herself
worlds build, expand
and explore

...but my love

endures...!!
