made headlines when she exhorted a graduating high school class to monitor their families for

politically incorrect thoughts and behavior.

Michele's push for children to monitor their families

for..precieved racist comments

is somewhere the government doesn't belong, in the home

..having the first lady wag her finger and send America's youth on a quest to scour backyards and homes 

......for any mention of a racist joke or slur

is the nanny state run amok.

Reminds me of Catholic school and the admonishment not to have un-pure thoughts.

What could possibly be an un-pure thought?

All right so I thought of sister Mary naked...but only for a couple of seconds.

Doesn't matter.  It's a sin.  You could go to hell for eternity along with fire and brimstone and weeping and knashing of teeth.

Hardly seems fair to me.  Didn't Jesus die on the cross for my sins?  Doe's that mean a sin is instantly 

forgiven or is there a delay?  If so, how long?

Is there really such a thing as a hate crime?  What's the difference between hate and simply not liking something?  If you have the right to like do you have the right to dislike?

As long as there is love there will be hate.  That's the nature of duality which you can't escape.  Can't have one without the other.

Everyone is entitled to an opinion.  Everyone is entitled to exercise their right to express that opinion without fear of retribution for doing so.

If you don't like their opinion don't invite them to your party.
