A gallery on Cookman closed it's doors. Not surprising. It was never open anyway. That brings to an even dozen galleries who have come and gone since I was keeping track for the last five years or so.
I betcha' the next one to go will be Expo # 9. They no longer have openings and Rue Egenses the Norwegian curator
has disappeared, last seen at N.J.Art Space which folded.

ASBURY ANCHOR
Dan Jacob's pathetic attempt at a culture blog in response
to the competition from ALF has met with dismal failure as could be expected.
The last post was over a year ago and the one before that was two months before. By way of contrast ALF posts 3 & 4 times a week.
I saw Janna Manning, Dan's wife on the boardwalk the other day. She is out of touch with reality. She thinks Asbury Anchor is happening and is viable.
How about this. An item in the Asbury Park Sun sez, Marilyn Schlossbach has been appointed to and "AD HOC" municipal
cultural commission. LOL,LOL, LOL.
From someone who knows, nothing could be further from the truth, which just emphasizes the "disconnect" from cultural reality in Asbury Park
The art game is not art. What really counts is your politics.
